Dior Vs. Dior

1947 & 1997

Opening this weekend in Paris at Le Bon Marché is a tribute exhibition to Dior. There are original Christian Dior pieces combined with Galliano's recent work. Accessories and installations pieces, including a video installed within stack of boxes, create an interesting overview of the legendary design house. More at Le Bon Marché.

Often regarded as a sexual terrorist for her early work in which she exposed her body to the public, Valie Export has a much richer oeuvre engaging public expectations and public space in general.
