Countess Crespi



Above and below in New York in 1961 is Consuelo Crespi who modeled, edited Vogue Italia and nurtured Italian designers Valentino, Missoni and Fendi. In 1970 she received Italy's highest honor for building the nation's fashion. She was inducted into the Fashion Hall of Fame for “faultless taste in dress without ostentation or extravagance.” The New York Times called her the "ultimate fashion insider." Read the profile here.
